History
Marguerite's Bed and Breakfast at 309 West Lincoln
Avenue was built by the John Burt family in 1907. Family
members resided in the house for many years. Elizabeth
Burt, a long time abstractor in Lincoln County, was
the last resident. This 2-story house was restored by
Marguerite in 2003
as a two bedroom Bed and Breakfast. Marguerite's famous French Canadian cuisine dinners can be enjoyed by advanced reservation. In restoring the house Marguerite kept the original
architecture style and craftsmanship. The home and furnishings
reflect a bygone era, including hardwood floors,
pocket doors, bay window, stained glass windows, and kitchen
appliances. A wrap-around
porch is sure to inspire the small town feeling to guests.
